Business Pain Points

Once a company has identified all the key areas that need to be addressed, to either repair, solve a problem or develop the business. The next task is to build a system to sort them by impact and importance.

By using the business pain points tool, you can simply add the “Task,” then select the level of “Impact,” “Priority” and “Financial Value” for each task. The tool will then automatically create a “ball” that is displayed on the chart.

The Chart will show how the different initiatives relate to one another. This will help you and your team decide what to focus on first.

You and your team can play around with the levels of priority, impact on the business and financial cost, to see what initiatives should take precedence.

As we all know in business, things can change rapidly. What might make sense this month, may need to take a back seat for a few months until something else is completed first.

This tool should be updated frequently to gain the most from it. Even better, include it as part of your reporting process.

This is a must-have tool for any business owner serious about strategic planning and wanting to make things happen.

Note: When introducing this tool to your team, its often a good idea to tackle a number of smaller initiatives first. The reason being is by creating a few early wins, your team will begin to build a synergy and be better equipped to manage the larger higher value tasks to come.
